Welcome to my website!

I am Luming Zhang, an emerging scholar in educational measurement whose work lies at the intersection of psychometrics, fairness, and assessment design. I study how item response theory (IRT), computerized adaptive testing (CAT), and process data modeling can be utilized to enhance the validity, interpretability, and equity of educational assessments, especially for linguistically and culturally diverse learners.

My academic background bridges statistics, education policy, and international studies. I earned an Ed.M. in Education Policy and Analysis from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where I took coursework in Statistical & Psychometric Methods for Educational Measurement.

I also hold a B.A. in International Relations with a Statistics minor from Mount Holyoke College. These experiences have shaped my interest in connecting technical measurement methods with broader issues of educational equity.

On this site, you can explore my CV and Projects, which reflect both my research experiences and my determination to grow into a scholar in educational measurement.
